A close friend of mine is getting married in Vegas in June. It is a evening wedding. I found this dress that I absolutely love that fits me perfectly. It is black and falls right above my ankles, its strapless with mesh feathers going down the dress, it comces out at the waist not a lot but its fuller at the bottom, it could be a bridesmaid dress or a prom dress but it's really cute. I was wondering if I could wear it to her wedding or would it be too much? What kind of dresses should I stay away from?

The dress sounds great. You know your friend and her style. The only thing you need to watch out for is to not upstage the bride. if the dress is too fancy people will be looking at you, not her. Show your dress to your friend and ask her opinion.

I think the dress sounds good. You just want to stay away from anything that will take away from the bride & because its an evening wedding I think black is fine. & if your really worried about the dress ask the bride if the dress is ok w/her

Go for it! Black is a great color for an evening wedding. The only color you should not wear to a wedding is white. Unless you are the bride, of course.

I think that sounds great, but try to find out what the style of the wedding is first. If it is black tie or cocktail attire, then that dress sounds perfect. If not, maybe look for something more casual. But that dress does sound beautiful.

that would be cute but you should stay away from like just plain dresses! dont you wanna stick out at the wedding even make the bride jeolous.
