I had an AM 80 which is a similar model, great guitar -- you better move fast, I fancy it myself.

That one actually has a good weight to it. I'm actually big into vintage but I"ve played all types. If you're buying this online and haven't gotten a feel for it, just keep your receipt. I have to screw around in a store before I commit. But this one does have a sweet sound to it, but I can compare the same traits to a few cheaper models.

I am assuming you are referring to an electric 6 string. I have had about 6 guitars, and have practiced with others. My favorite is Jackson still. You can get notes out faster and cleaner.

NO!!!!! If you're going to spend $500 get yourself an Epiphone Les Paul. Best guitar for the money by far.

ibanez make nice products for the money, but your better off with a high end epiphone or a washburn.

Fender Stratocaster or a Jaguar if you can find one Eddie Van Halen can't be wrong.

I agree with the Les Paul comment. I don't know what your budget is like, but avoid Ibenez if you can. You won't regret it.
