I have been divorced for 3 years. I have not dated while my child has lived with me. I have no personal life except for at work. I even think of not moving for other job oppurtunities because she is in high school and I feel that she has moved enough in her life.

Well I'm 18 and I moved to a diffrent high school and jr high. She will understand it will be hard for her but she will. You are her everthing no matter what she thinks. She will tell you that she will hate you and don't want anything to do with you but she will get over it. But both of your guys life has to get along with each other. Just sit down with her and talk to her she wants to be adult. So talk to her and tell her what is going on. Just don't up and do anything because it will mess her up with her friends and she will think like she has done something wrong when she didn't... Well I hoped I helped...

In would not suggest moving her away from her school this late in the game... credits dont always transfer the same. As far as dating... she is old enough to understand and is old enough to stay at home by yourself while you go out every so often. good luck, it's your time too! (Just dont get too out of hand with the new found social life, lol)

if you feel like you can't live live to the fullest then no. your daughter may be really important to you but if you can't do what you want to do in life then just don't do everything for her just let her know you love her. that is all she will need.
