my mom has so much trouble paying the bills, she barely makes ends meet. I don't have a job yet so I can't help her out but my bro still lives at home at the age of 19 with no job. hes on unemployment and he just has to buy himself new things every time he gets his checks instead of helping my mom out. he gives her some money for groceries and stuff but not much. well yesterday we went shopping and he said he HAD to save $100 we asked why, (my mom really needed that money) he said he had to buy himself some new clothes. he has A LOT of nice new clothes. talk about selfish.

A selfish action can be anything that gives personal gain without thought or consideration for another. A classic example would be to give someone your word & then turn around and break it because you either never meant to keep it, or because by breaking your promise you gain some form of compensation.

I'm not saying it quite right, but I know what I mean anyway. lol
