Do you think it is stupid for sony to make a sixaxis controller which:
1. Can charge ONLY when the PS3 is on (Did they expect us to play the PS3 for 24 hours nonstop?
2. They called it the next generation of Dual Shock.. Just without the shock.. Du'h!
3. The controller need to be charged.. but Sony decided not to include the charger cable in the sixaxis package! Granted that it's only a USB cable... they should provide it, though.
PS3 best quality is its graphic but doesn't include a component or HDMI cable or making it optionable for people who have HDTV. I don't need AV cable anymore!
After buying here and there, the final cost that you need to spend to finally play the game in its best quality is 1100 dollars!

Duh.. you said about technology has moved on? The sixaxis seems like a backward technology to me.. Even a remote control (wiimote) can rumble- and that's not even a bluetooth technology.

Shows how much of a Wii and/or 360 fanboy you really are.
1. You have other options of charging the Sixaxis. It's a USB cable, which means you can charge it on your PC, on your USB hub, etc.
2. I don't think Sony ever called the Sixaxis the next generation of Dual Shock since they've known for years that they can't use the dual shock technology.
3. If you want to make the 360 controller rechargeable, you need to get the plug and play kit or quick charge kit. At least the Sixaxis comes rechargeable. I believe you get the charge cable with the PS3. When you buy the 360 or Wii controller, do you get the recharging cables? No. You get 2 AA batteries.
Is there something wrong with your math because I don't see how it ends up being 1100 bucks just to enjoy everything?
PS3: 600 bucks.
HDMI cable: 50 (cheap 3rd party) to 100 bucks (Monster cable).
Game: 60 bucks
That comes up to 760 bucks max. Add another controller: 810 bucks.

you're problems are quite undemanding in PS3 problems. it quite is solved in 3 undemanding steps: a million. change on PS3 2. do away with disk and unplug console for a million-2 minutes 3. Then plug the console back into the electric powered outlet and then get a sledge hammer and beat it to dying

Yes a PS3 is very stupid for the price of about $750 u can buy a Xbos 360 and a Nintendo Wii for that much.

the controller can b charged when the ps3 it on stand by
and u can find those wires laying around at home
