Yes, it's normal. I had twins, too. I had 2 pregnancies before the twins, so I thought something was wrong because I didn't have it with the other two. But you stretch a lot more & it's more weight. I also had another baby after the twins & didn't get the same pains with him. Now my twins are 18 & both just joined the Marines. Time flies...enjoy them while you can & congrats!

Yes it can be normal. Especially with twins, you are carrying a lot of extra weight and that causes a lot of back strain. Be careful though and make sure you're not having contractions. I had back labor with both of mine and it hurts worse in your back than in the front. Time the pains and see if they are coming regularly. I also had back spasms, but they were on the upper part of my back. Talk to your OG-GYN if you are very concerned.

Aw- yes it's normal. The babies can push on a nerve (sciatic) and it can hurt really bad. Try laying on your left side and see if that helps... and make sure to drink lots of water.
With twins you will also need to make sure that what you are having is NOT back labor.. (contractions as well as back pain..)
Email me if you need to talk doremebaby@yahoo.com
Congrats on the little ones!

Your stomach is probably twice the size it was 31 weeks ago, having twins. That puts a big strain on your back. Maybe your husband can rub your back or something. But if it is coming and going, like contractions, call your ob-gyn. Good luck.

YES!! Normal part of carrying the extra weight. UNLESS...they are rhythmic pains that come and go in regular intervals, in which case you may be having back labor. It's not uncommon for twins to come early remember!!

Okay, before I answer this, I went and looked at your other questions. You state that you are 7 months pregnant with twins, and your Mom doesn't notice that you are pregnant. Does she know yet? I think you are full of sh*t!

your probably having braxton hicks contractions, this is your body preparing for the birth, perfectly normal, also remember how much pressure your body is under, your carrying, feed, supporting two little people, so try and relax as much as possible and wait for the delievery.
Congradulations and Best Wishes!!!

Yup. Carrying all that wait up front puts a lot of strain on the lower back.
But Talk to your doc to be sure
