why do some people hate Eminem?

i mean hes a great rapper no one can say he aint,very funny
the fact that hes white and raps better than black rappers means a lot,, im not saying hes the best rapper but hes one of the greatest , why do some people hate him? i dont get it !!

and whats his been up to ? did he got married? did he leave the game ? i heard he died in a car crash?!

i rate him far higher then any other rappers, most r so bad nowadays, 50cent ludacris etc.
think its cos hes white and far better then every black rapper, like u say!

People hate what they don't understand. I may not agree with some of Eminem's lyrics but I understand the concept of appealing to a certain genre and that is what he is doing. I don't hate him. It may be that he is expressing himself honestly through his music and that is okay. That is what a true artist is supposed to do. As for the negative influence he has on teenagers....well that is the parents fault. If they can't control their children any better than that it is there problem. As far as the race issue goes I don't understand why that is problem this day in time. People are exposed to a variety of musical genres everyday. If the music moves you it should not matter what color you are. Music is the universal language.

Perhaps some black people don't like the fact that that kind of music was created by them and a white man is taking all the glory, like Elvis did. Perhaps some people think that white men shouldn't act like they are black. I wouldn't know 100% because I'm not someone who hates him and I'm white, but that's what I think.

confident. i do unlike Eminem or the STANs. His cliched concern rely and sweetness ingredient are infantile and demanding after 3 songs. yet, are not getting me began ;) BQ: Ummmm... on GOAT record, possibly around 25 because of the fact he's have been given technical skills. as far as favorites? Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but all the people that I've talked to say that he's too personal and controversial; they think he just says the things he says for shock value. Personally, I think he's kinda of losing his appeal, but I still love his style and lyrics. He is one of if not the best lyricist out there. I don't appreciate him bring 50 cent out, but everyone makes mistakes.

people have a problem with the fact that, like it or not, eminem is a role model for many, and he doens't act like one. his music is readily avaliable, and his first singles are intentionally catchier and lighter than the majority of the material on his albums.

although this is not my opinion, i guess alot of people just feel he has a bad attitude and for someone who has fast become a roll model to younge children, should maybe just tone it down a little.

You don't get why people would hate someone that raps about beating up his wife and not showing any remorse for it? Also goes on and on about how he hates gay people and etc?
That's why I don't like the idiot. He raps about beating and killing his wife and then goes on and on about hating someone just because they are different then he is. That's why I don't like the sob.
I also don't see how any of you could like that kind of music. I don't mean rap in general. I mean music where the guy goes on and on about beating and killing someone and getting joy out of it? How could you like music like that? I can tell you this. Eminem's music is difinately banned from my house.
