Because, all of the hurt will be worth the payoff when you finally meet "the one". There is no better feeling on this earth then being in love. Winning some money in a lottery feels great. But, it doesn't give you purpose as a human being. Losing love can destroy you. But, in the spirit of the phoenix. You're heart is reborn to live anew. Each time you all in love it's different. Just never forget how powerful love really is.

Because that is what we have been trained to do, especially in the US. We grew up watching TV and movie romances. Did you know that there are societies in some south pacific islands that marry with no concept of permanence, that 6 7 or 8 marriges in a lifetime is considered normal. Don't buy into that true love lasts forever BS. Nothing lasts forever, you just have to make the most of what you get and deal with it when its over.

Love fills in the gaps. We have to loose some times to make winning have so high a value. Plus it help you weed out the losers and the ones who have very different ways about them you won't like after the sex wears off. Or slows down some. Love only hurts when your love dies, That is why we remember.

As humans, we depend on other people for survival.
We have to love and accept people in order to do this.
Seeking a life-long relationship can be a life-long task, not easy.
Loving someone more than yourself, is a feeling that cannot be expressed in words. That is why I, and some people continue fall in love.

...tell me about it. No matter how much i try not to fall in love, i still do. I guess, the reason why, is because WE ARE MORTALS. We have no control over faith or destiny. What will be will be.

because eventually the bleeding stops, and you're ready to go on. Love is a wondrous thing, but it can come to a sudden halt if certain things arise, but that doesn't diminish on how good it feels.

"It's better to have loved than to have never loved at all". It is wonderful to be in love--the jitters in the stomach, waiting for the phone to ring, holding hands, whispering sweet nothings, laughing about anything, having someone to care about and care for. The pros of love always outweigh the cons, in my mind.
We humans were created for companionship. We are created to love and to be loved.

because people still believe that even though their heart was broken they can still have a chance to get it repaired by someone else loving them and closing their open wounds.
