I only have a theory on the title Deathly Hallows. I rest I say will fall into place.
Love is the most hallowed emotion in this world. There is nothing stronger than deathly love. I take it from there and let the story continue....

1. Harry is not a horrcrux! LV tried to kill him.
2. After LV dies, Harry's scar will disapear.
3. Harry does not die. The prophesy wouldn't exist if they both died.
4. Snape is still good. PD was nearing the end and sacrificed his life for Snapes cover and because of the unbreakable spell. When Harry faced off against Snape, Snape would dodge his spells and was trying to teach him that in order to be a successful wizard (ex. kill LV) he had to master his casting spells with out speaking.
5. PD is dead.
6. Snape will assist in the killing of LV
7. Sirrus will return as a ghost to teach and help Harry.
9. Deathly Hollows is where LV will meet his end.
10. Mogonogal is the Headmistris. Percy will take on Mogonogal's spot and the new DADA prof will be a new character.
11. Of course Hogwarts will stay open. Most will return
12. Harry will go back.
That's all I got for now.

First off, I think that Harry is not going to go to school, as he said in HBP. Instead, I think that he is going to journey and find all of the horcruxes, but along the way he is going to find our secrets about Dumbledore, his mom, Sirius, etc, that will eventually all tie in to the end of the story. I believe that Harry will come to a final battle with Voldemort, and it is going to be a struggle for him. Voldemort is of course much more powerful (right now) and much more experienced; and Harry still needs to learn more ways to use his powers. I believe that Harry will find out why his mother is so important to the sotry of Voldemort, and he will ultimately clear all of the lies and mysteries that have surrounded him all of his life. I believe that Harry and Voldemort will die; thus finishing the legacy that was foretold before Harry's birth. And I think that the title plays a ;arge role for us thinking about the end. Or it could be that the title is a misnomer, and Harry will kill all of the evil in the magical world and save all of the good people. But this is just a theory. Hope this helps.

No, it's "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows." H-A-L-L-O-W-S, not H-O-L-L-O-W-S. Different words.
Edited to add: Check out the page for "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" at The Harry Potter Lexicon:
http://www.hp-lexicon.org/about/books/dh/book_dh.html
It summarizes what we know about Book 7, including quotes from JKR, plus definitions of "deathly" and "hallows."

the title is sooooo stupid. i'm fine if neville and loony luna don't die --- they are my favorites!!! but, one of my friends who loves snape is like, snape and dumbledor had it all planed out, so dumbledor planed on dying... i think that voldemort will do something seriously stupid, and the death eaters will turn against him, and harry will defeat voldemort, but will then be killed himself.
