Recently, Rosie O'Donnell started a "war" of words with Donald Trump. Sure, it is okay to voice one's opinion. But was it for publicity? And do we really care?
This is just a series of "stories" the media talks about because it is interesting but rather pointless because it overshadows real legit stories. Such "stories" or "gossip" are the mainstream of the popular culture pipeline. Examples includ Paris Hilton, Mel Gibson, TomKat's wedding, the drama of Britney and Kevin's divorce. But do we really care? It makes for good entertainment but that's all.

You know I could really care less about any of these people as I am sure other people feel the same way. I have enough going on in my life and don't have time to even think about how stupid some of those people are acting.

normally, I would say NO - I do not care.
However, in the Rosie vs Donald saga, I think it is important that someone stand up to Rosie and put her in her place! She is standing on her soapbox everyday and pushing her beliefs on everybody else, while she insults people all the time, and is quick to jump to the defense of gays/lesbians at any little comment no matter how innocent it may be!
She is getting way too big for her britches and while Donald Trump may not be an "ideal moral compass for 20 year olds",
she has no right pointing fingers and judging him!
I am glad he went off on her and I hope he embarrassed the hell out of her!

Well, I couldn't care any less, because I don't care at all. Trumps a know it all millionaire and as far as "The View" goes. Big deal. A show which included in it's host's a hag and a f**.
I've never known a young woman that shows her crotch to the world, nor do I want too. Hollywood Trash all.

I don't care either but a lot of people live vicariously through others. A celebrity especially one that has shown flaws is very attractive to average people because they show a human side that can make mistakes and should be accountable for them.
