Hi! I plan to go to Costa rica next summer (mid-July to mid-august) with my girlfriend. Where should I spend more of my time in Costa rica? South or north ? What about spending some time to Panama and Nicaragua ? We will probably go there and take the bus to move from places to other places ! So all advises are welcome :) Thanks a lot !

Do your research on the Government tourism site listed below. Book your first couple of nights in a safe hotel, such as the site listed below.
Then go for it - backpacking, whatever. But don't hitch rides in these regions - dodgy as !!

at the same time as March continues to be intense season in CR, many of the cities you listed are heavily off the crushed bath (esp. San Miguel and Coyote). Reservations are almost in no way mandatory except you intend on staying in inns. each and every city might have pensions (low end lodges) for $20 a evening and below, and that they are going to all have vacancies. i replaced into residing in Montezuma this time final year and made the rigidity as much as Samara on many events. All pensions and center-type lodges had vacancies, and there are a number of to make a call from on the off case that one is finished. Brasilito and Samara must be greater crowded, yet you ought to have the potential to locate accommodations. no question approximately it. once you get to Montezuma (between the suitable hidden jewels of the country, for my area), i might propose persevering with to Cabuya, approximately 7km in direction of the character take care of. We cherished it there lots, we rented a house and stayed there nicely into the wet season. you additionally could make day journeys to Montezuma and Malpais, and relax at evening in a real rural jungle putting. the persons there are very friendly. i might reccomend staying on the "Jungalows" right in the past city center (crossroads). The Dutch proprietor knows lots in regards to the land. At low tide, wade out to the previous cemetary island. walk by way of Capo Blanco. Hike to the waterfalls and swim. attempt the pescado at Delfin del Luna. Take it undemanding. appreciate your trip! And kudos for warding off Tamarindo. it quite is been spoiled via the vacationer commerce interior the worst way, nonetheless the sea coast is as picturesque as they arrive.
