Most of the hospitals have what is called Nurse Managers that are in charge of the staff on a particular unit. This requires knowledge in both nursing and management skills to deal with staffing, budgets, education etc. This is a good paying position that can be very rewarding. Check into some of the nurse recruiting sites for available positions throughout Canada and the United States. Good luck.

Eventually you could be a real good candidate for a nursing supervisor position. I'd guess most of those require a few years of on-the-job nursing, so if you're just out of school, a position as a nurse in a large hospital would probably be a good next move.
