My Cat's Fur Grew Longer After She Was Spayed?

In Fact,she really look's part Maine Coon cat now. Has that happened to anyone's pet before?

My mom's longhair cross didn't get long hair until about a year. Didn't have anything to do with spaying, just a coincidence.

Probably just got older, who knows. I don't have cats as my fiance and i are allergic to them and i cant stand the smell. we have a dog and are more of dog people.
