You want the truth??? Let's look at the offence... They've got an O-Line that couldn't stop Steven Hawking (even if he wasn't in his wheelchair)... And even if they did have an O-Line that understood pass protection, the Quarterback is a no-talent hack... And Lamont Jordan hasn't lived up to the hype, bad blockers or not... And by having no one to throw the ball, you've pissed off two VERY good recievers who won't be there next year, when Al Davis finally pulls his head out of his *** and drafts a QB... I mean, they had the 7th pick, and let Leinart go by... This was because Al Davis didn't think he had the arm strength to throw the deep ball... I admit that Leinart isn't burning up the league, but he couldn't be any worse that Brooks or Walter have been this year...
I hope to hell they get a QB soon, and a line to protect him...
Also, it doesn't help that we're in a division with Denver, KC and San Diego, Three very good teams that we have to play twice each...

The raiders are not bad its just the OFFENSE that plays horrible, the only two games they have won has been because of the D# because against the steelers they returned two pics for tds and everytime the D# stops them they cant capitalize. then they get the best kicker in the word Janikowski that missed three field goals against the Texans. so yes they are right now the worst team in the NFL or maybe tied with the Lions. (Both 2-12) and will finish the season (2-14).

you have no OFFENSE at all brother....the first step is getting a QB to get Moss and company the ball. with a healthy lamont jordan back next year and if moss sticks around a good QB will make the difference you guys are looking for in the bay area. Personally, i think the defense has been playing well. Even with a decent offense the raiders could be .500. I'm a skins fan so i feel your pain but the good news is, there is always next year.

The owner needs to open the wallet. Go for young players & retire some of the old players. The New England team was like the Raiders are today until they got a owner that looked to the future. 3 Super Bowls in 5 years. They also have no super stars. Every one is "we" not" I ".

The defense has definitely improved as the season has gone on (~20 points per game allowed, 17 INTs and 31 sacks isn't bad, although they only forced 6 fumbles.) But the offense hasn't clicked all year & it's not for lack of talent at the skill positions...well, maybe a lack of talent at QB.
They need a new QB & upgrades on both lines. They have too many oooooold vets & need a youth movement badly.

Really bad. I think the Raiders kept their older players (e.g. Jerry Rice, Tim Brown, Rich Gannon and Charlie Garner) longer than they should have, and brought in more old players after them. They made some bad picks in the draft (Robert Gallery and Sebastian Janikowski haven't justified their high picks yet, and Fabian Washington and Michael Huff, while talented, haven't been as good as they should be yet), and some other bad moves. (Think Randy Moss and LaMont Jordan.)
Unless they start making better personnel decisions, starting with the draft, they're going to be wasting their young defensive talent.

No. They'll turn it around next year with a good offensive draft. Their defense can keep them in games if they offense could just get a drive going. Don't get me wrong, they're the worst team in the league this year, but with an offensive line and a QB they could be a 6-7 win team.

They just don't care. They figure they are getting paid the big bucks just to show up and play, that doesn't mean that they have to win. Even when they lose they still get paid and us die hard Raider fans will still buy tickets to watch them even if they lose!

Al Davis is the problem. Al is acting as both owner and GM. The team is 11-34 under him in their last 45 games. It's time to get a real GM to get this team back on track again.
Raider Nation deserves better.
