there a several trade papers, that list auditions by area. They are usually at your local Barnes and Noble or Borders... you can "get" an audition virtually anywhere, but "getting" a gig is a totally different story.
There have been folks that have gone on to much success having never taken acting lessons. It really comes down to pounding tha pavement and being persistent. If your really serious, you should probably think at or look at getting an agent. (which will in turn also line up auditions for you... especially one that would otherwise be unavailable to you.)
Break a leg.

If you can't take classes you can't be an actor. There is no can't only won't. You can get the money somehow if you really want it.
There are no open calls for real acting jobs. You need to be submitted either by yourself or a representative. You need to be called in for the audition. But you're putting the cart before the horse as I've seen so many do. You need to be ready with the ability to go in and give a professional level audition. If you can't do that you don't belong in the game. Take classes or do something else with your life.

Go to the audition and see what happens. At least you will get a feel for the process and you can decide if "acting" is right for you.
It's not unsual for someone without experience to go on an audition.

The best thing to do would be to get an agent...but some auditions are open to the public. Just look for open auditions and plan on waiting around for awhile.

You can go to an open call to get an audition. But try some local theater first. Everyone has to start some where. To look for professional auditions, go to www.backstage.com
or www.actorsacess.com
good luck!

Well, just to let you know, i went through the same thing, firt you have to go to an acing school, like john casablanca in los angeles, then after as long as they teach you, you get a portfolio, then a photo shoot, then you show the portflios to an agentcey, and if they like you, they pick you, just make sure you pick a good one.

Just fart at your audition. If that doesn't make them laugh then they are not human.
