This is just my PERSONAL opinion.

I tried Peoplepc once. Didn't like it, but it took about two weeks, and repeated phone calls and emails to get it out once I put it in. They were insistent that I wanted it. I finally did get rid of it, but it was a bad experience for me. Just be sure it's what you want before you put it in. Also, be sure you can get a local number for a connection, or your phone bill will be through the roof.

***EDIT*** I forgot to mention that I had tried their "trial" plan. They were trying to keep me on it long enough to bill me for it.

No. I had it for a month and cancelled because I couldn't log on half the time, and the other half it would get stuck and not finish a search. It was the worst service I ever had and they kept trying to charge me after i cancelled the service.

I didn't care for it when I had it, but that was about a year and a half ago so maybe they have improved. I just always had a hard time logging on, and it was s - l - o - w.......
