checked it. He lied about having your password. You only chatted one time and that was the day he started spying on you. I was IM my ex husband because i saw he was online i asked how was he and that was that. Then later I was having problems with my computer and i asked for his help. Well i buzzed him and my mike was on. he said that his mike wasn't there. So i was unaware that he could hear me. So my phone rung and it was my fiance and my ex heard the whole convo. He got very upset and started to right some mean stuff. So later my fiance came home and checked everything and got upset. come to find out he had been checking my emails and everything. He found some incriminating stuff. I do everything for him,I never am around other men nor do I normally talk to them. I feel very betrayed because he quoted some things that I said to someone while chatting that wasn't the complete truth. What should i do.

you need to ask yourself why you had been speaking with your ex in the first place. if it was just out of boredom then there might be more relationship problems then what you are saying there are. as far as he goes he may have been concerned about who you were talking to and if you wouldnt have been honest with him it would just make him more suspicious. now that he has found these conversations its probably jealousy that he is feeling and maybe a little inadequate. a long conversation where both of you remain calm is going to be very much needed here for you to figure out what it is that you want from this relationship you currently have.

First of all, a spouse does have the right to know about your associations. If you want to continue friendly relations with ex's you should let your guy know instead of hiding it. Now he will also need to learn to trust you, so that is something you will have to work out. It really depends on what you were saying to the other guy, so I don't know whether he had the right to be mad. But I suggest you solve these trust issues before actually getting married.

Any man that would disrespect you that much to invade your privacy is NOT worth keeping around. I'm not making any judgements but by the sounds of it he seems a bit on the controling side. Stand up for yourself. Stand up for women all around the world. Let him know that that is NOT how to treat a woman. If my boyfriend/fiance ever disrespected me like that i'd dump his *** in a heart beat.

Scandalous.... You need to apologise, and when things settle down you need to explain to him that checking your emails and IM's in inapropriate even though he found some hurtful things. Then you need to come up with a way to earn his trust back because he probably feels like you are decieving him.

Hm, my boyfriend and I have 2 rules. No talking to our ex's and we are allowed to check each others things if one feels there is a need.
