its pretty obvious that the french people hate the usa and are very ungrateful for our service in liberating them in ww2,when i was in france i found the french very rude and arrogant,i will never go back to france again,but my americans who visited france also share my position,it seems the french go out of their way to put the usa and americans down as much as possible,i personally feel its because france has no power and is jealous of usa,what ya all think?

I've been to France 4 times and have NEVER had a problem with the people. Yeah, there are the occasional person or two that are rude, but that happens everywhere.
Go read your history to see how France helped the US.
Personally, I find the culture in France to be refined and an example of what we should be like. Do you see people walking around 200 lbs overweight in Europe? NOPE! They take better care of themselves and understand the meaning of the word "family". (They have 4 to 5 weeks vacation to START at every job. We have 2 weeks....which is better...you tell me.)
Did you try to speak French while you were there?

jealous of you! I am sorry but I can't be jealous of someone who have opinions like yours! How can I be jealous of this stupid opinion! And please stop with your argument about ww2! But it is right that if I meet an american person in France or whatever nationality, and that he considers that I have to respect him only because of the ww2 and that he doesn't make an effort to only speak 2 or 3 words in french, I don't want to make an effort for him, sorry, but when I go abroad, even if I don't speak the language of the country, I make an effort to say the "polite" words.
the problem with americans abroad is that you think that everybody speak english and everybody have to be polite with you even if you are not! a lot of the americans i saw here in france are so so impolite, don't say neither "hello" nor "thank you". But here, on french yahoo answers we don't spend so much time and so many questions about the americans and why we should hate you! we really don't care about that! do the same with us and maybe there will be less misunderstandings!

Strangely enough, I am French and discovered only a few months ago many articles on Yahoo where people from the US do French bashing, always implying that the French dislike the American. You obviously know better than me what's going on in French mind, as I always kept in high standards my view of the American people.
Not being jealous but rather looking at you with admiration. You obviously do not represent the American I envy and I can assure you that the way you speak about us will not make me jealous of you.
I don't think many people in France hate the american people but I'm still surprise to see so many guys like you, coming from the first country in the world, talking with so much hatred of my fellow countrymen and showing so little intelligence in thinking that our values are not the same.
Why do you spend so much energy in showing so much despise for the French when never, I say never, I see articles like the ones you post from the Frenchmen? And you always keep on saying the same degrading things about us?
Doesn't it hit you, that things are not black or white and that even in your street you may find someone having completely different views from yours, without being insulted?

Just look around, most of the countries dislike America, probably for producing more polution than any other country (kioto treaty ?), because of the past 67 years in war against many other countries, because of the cultural uniformization of the world, because of the constant lies (at the UNO for instance), legal weapons that kill thousands people in the US... I guess the population is so isolated and so manipulated by the media that you just don't see how the world is.

well, at least france saved us during the revolutionary war, otherwise, it could have resulted in a loss, or the war would have gone on longer than it actually did. They are jealous of our strong and stable conomy.

That is because they are Frogs. They eat snails and think they are refined individuals. Just like the Germans every 100 years or so think they are superior to everyone else on the planet and they totally forget that even the Frogs whooped their butts in the old days.
