If the baby doesn't come out naturally when it is supposed to the mother must go to the Hospital to have a cesarean section (they cut open the stomach and remove the baby) or else it is likley that when the mother's body decides it is finally time to have the baby there will be great risk to both baby and mother.

In postdate pregnancy, the risk of fetal jeopardy is higher from placental insufficiency (the body of the mother giving nutrients to and disposing of waste from the baby) and also from the higher risk of passage of meconium (sterile poop that usually is stored inside the baby until after birth).

When there is not much fluid, the meconium becomes very particulate and thick. Aspiration into the baby's lungs before and after birth is a major risk. (This means that the meconium aka baby poop can block the airway of the baby and cause it to suffocate and die.)

Because fluid volume does diminish after the due date, instillation of warm saline can be done if this lack of fluid seems to be causing distress in labor or if the baby has passed meconium and the midwife or doctor feels that it would be helpful to try to dilute it.

However, if the mother does not go to the Hospital they can not inject the life saving sailine and save the child.

it will pass its bowels in the mothers belly and the waste will eventually enter the blood stream of the mother and the baby will take in some of the waste .the baby could die in the mothers belly and the mother could get an infection, or Poisson by the waste.
and if the baby is ready come out the bowels will make the blood turn BLACK and the baby may die at birth or have disabilities or theirs a 90% possibility the baby will be completely fine

I had my son at home. Believe me the baby would come out. The only problems maybe if the umbilical cord is wrapped around the neck, Breach presentation etc. It is not wise to have a baby at home unless you have a midwife or the like with you. Women don't always make it to the hospital and they give birth just fine. Go to the doctor or a midwife though because it is just not worth the risk of having a baby without medical supervision.

well most women give birth naturally and dont need it ''removed'' unless there are certain problems or if it has been advised to have a cearsarean.

and if they do need a c section most will be planned and if there are problems most mums to be are in hospital before the baby is at risk of dying.

no babies will not explode out of her stomacch our bodys arent designed to do that. but a baby can die inside a woman if no one knows there is a problem.

Hee hee, your funny. It comes out. Thats it. Duh. It doesn't pop out of her belly- although it is covered in blood and it has this huge, long, dark, slimy cord attached to its belly. They rip it off the baby and that's how you get a belly button. Spiffy, huh?
