Jack everytime. It's more taste than burn. If all you want is to remove the lining of your esophogus, Jim Beam is right up there with drano, bleach, and battery acid; but if you like to taste your bourbon, Jack wins it hands down.

If you want some good stuff try Gentleman's Jack. It's pretty darn good. Jack Daniels is good old fashioned Tennessee Whiskey, "NICE AND SMOOOOTH!" Jim Beam is O.K. but it doesn't beat Jack.
