its strange, but putting visine on them helps to shrink them and it really helps reduce redness. Sometimes it is temporary but it works well. Another thing is proactive. I swear it works. You should see my skin.

Toothpaste. I used to place toothpaste on them overnight. How long it would take depends on how big they are. Basically anything that acts as a astringent will work, you need to dry them out of the the oil that produces the bacteria. A good cleansing and exfoliating routine can help prevent the pore plugs that traps the oil and bacteria. But in the end it is hormones which is why taking birth control improves your skin so dramatically.

OMG! I'm so glad you asked this. I used to suffer badly with acne. Nothing worked. I read in a magazine the following:

Take egg white and beat with a mixer.

Place the thickened egg white all over your face and neck (it may smell depending on how sensitive you are to smell)

Allow it to dry for approx. 15 minutes or blowdry

then wash it off

Twice a day. You'll see a rapid decrease in your acne.

DO NOT use any soaps or anything on your face. Just make sure you wash all the egg white off with warm water!

Good luck. '-)

Besure to wash you face morning and night. Use a pimple product with 10 per cent benzoyl peroxide that can be found at your local drug store. Avoid squeezing them as that could cause scars.
