According to the Elliott Institute, 93% of women regret their abortions. It's easy to see why, considering what it does to them and their babies:

I haven't aborted a child, but these women have, and you can read their stories:

If you or someone you know has aborted a child and needs help, I I really recommend http://www.healinghearts.org You can sign up for a free online post-abortion study there, and you will be paired with an email counselor, most likely a woman who has aborted a child herself. They can help.
On a side note, the woman above who claims that her baby did not feel pain at 12 weeks is sadly mistaken. It doesn't have anything to do with religion. It has to do with biological reality:

I did, when I was 19, I do NOT regret it (having it would have been a HUGE mistake, ditto marrying the 'boyfriend' at the time, who later turned out to be gay. I made sure to abort it early (at week 12) so it would not feel any pain (fetuses can't feel pain till at least 6 months, no matter what the religious right will tell you). Definitely a good choice for me. Otherwise I would have been miserable, with a kid I didn't want married to a gay guy I didn't respect (I didn't know he was gay at the time).

You are asking for trouble with a question like that on here - be prepared for some very heated answers. I have not done it but just wanted to let you know that if this is something you are considering only you can make a decision on how you feel. You are likely to get some very opinionated responses asking a question like that. I am just warning you in advance.

I don't regret it because I was very, very young. My birth control failed (Dr didn't tell me about a weight cut-off), and I would have married someone I currently careless about.
It was painful & I don't want to go through it again.
