MLK Jr.- African Americans of my generation (born in the 80's) look up to Martin Luther King Jr as if he were Jesus come again. He could definitely command a cult following today if he were still here.

Well, since African-AMERICANS live in America, and many of them join the military... I guess they will die for Bush, until we choose a different president. Then they will serve for that guy.

I believe they would also die for their gang leaders (if they are in a gang), and I'm not saying only black people join gangs. Gangsters of all races die for their leader, but you only asked about the African-Americans.

And in the past it would be for MLK, or a leader for the Black Panthers...

If anybody cares Chaka Kahn is a female jazz singer and Shaka Zulu is a famous African warrior who lead the Zulu's to a defeat of the English army.
