people duck when they are out in it

People are weird. Though science tells us not to run in the rain because you will get more wet if you run than if you walk.

aside from avoiding the rain they duck to keep from getting thier face wet...its instinct, protect your face

Think it's more to do with the primeval response of, "Oh God my hair's gonna frizz up like Uncle Larry's" or for men, they hate having their erect nipples on show under a polyester shirt, we gals wear under garments, see, another example of why we've yet to get rid of the "Man's world" and enter into the age of it's a woman's world.

thats funny it rained where i live the other day and i thought the same thing!! i dont i walk tall and proud i love the rain it makes me feel good and happy!!!
