Your lover will be with his wife and family?!! I think you need to work on being sane throughout the year, not just Christmas! How about finding someone who doesn't belong to somebody else--who has children--and starting a family with that person so you won't have to be alone over Christmas? How about not breaking up those kid's family? Maybe that could be your New Year's Resolution!

Watch some TV and buy in some special little treats and catch up on some reading......but most of all spend some time thinking of how you would feel if you were that poor woman whom your "lover" is cheating on and the little children who will be giving their gifts to daddy on Christmas morning.
You know if he really loved you he would not treat you this way...If he was any kind of gentleman he wouldn't treat his wife this way. Leave him and this time next year you will have a man who loves you and you will be the one he wants to be with. Don't feel lonely you are worth a lot more than he seems to think. X

If Roy T sees this ....Not to worry Roy I think your day sounds lovely. Aren't the horses nice to be around. What would all the animals do without wonderful people like you.Have a lovely peaceful day.

Your going to get no sympathy from anyone on here for saying that your 'lover' is married, especially from me.

My wife will probably be with her lover this christmas, i found out just over a week ago and she's left.

In fact, i'm quite happy with the fact your suffering, go get yourself someone single and leave married men alone.

Go out for a fabulous brunch and then go to a place serving dinner to the needy and help , pamper yourself with grooming and having a nice snack and drink,
Reconsider if you want to stay with a married man. You pay a big price. If you leave him, you can have another man who is there for you and a home and family of your own.

Go for a walk on the beach or book a holiday abroad and accept your second best to his family - but if you want to remain in this situation year after year this is whats going to happen. FIND a special man where YOU come first. XX

Find a man of your own and think of the poor women whose husband is betraying her for you all year! Sorry but had to answer this one with an honest answer as oppose to a point scoring one because infidelity is something I feel very strongly about!

Go to a pub or similar and get a game of darts, dominoes ,cards, whatever. You won't be alone for long. Then carry it on by finding out when they will be there again. Done properly, you will be ok.

If you have no other friends that will be in the same situation, just keep yourself busy. Alone does not need to equate to lonely. Afterall, it i just another day - 364 others to enjoy!

Look for someone else honey...this guy is getting the best of both worlds and he is laughing to himself about it too! You should spend your "alone" time getting a good grip on reality...wake up!!
