This girl has been my friend for four years and I am not sure she wants to be my girlfriend but I think she might. How do I ask her out (Remember, I am only in eighth grade.)

I say you should wait until you are at least 16, I know from experience that junior high relationships can ruin the best friendships in the world. I have seen it happen about a thousand times, don't let this jeopardize your friendship, you have to wait until you are mature enough to handle a break-up (which is inevitable)

Well, i just happen to be in eighths grade, so the best i can do is tell you how i would like to be asked out. I'd do it sometime when you're alone together, DO IT YOURSELF dont get a friend to ask her for you, it may seem easy but girls hate that! Tell her what you find attractive about her not just her looks, you can count them though, but her personality as well! let her know you want her to be your girlfriend. If she says no It may be akward but you will get over it, even though it might not seem like it! keep talking to her if she does say no, and if she says yes, you dont have to change the way you act around her, just keep being yourself! You're only in 8th grade??? Give it more time. if she's been your friend for 4 years I'm sure she'll still be there through High School. High School changes people and you might want to wait and see if it changes her before you rush and make a decision that you might regret.

i think it really all depends on her personaily like if she is one of thsoe quiet types maybe you should just ask her straight out and say it but if shes like a popular person you could make little talk with her then jsut ramdomly ask her out or you could just ask her if she likes you back theres many differnet ways you could do it but its really the way you should do it depending on what clique or how shes like. if shes preppy and likes to go shopping you could maybe ask her if she would like to hit the mall with you and ask her then but remember when ever you do it you got to have the right timing and place good luck!
