I don't know why my question upset some of you so much but you must know that Santa is a Fellow who keeps up with the times. He even flew to International Space Station.... Check this out and you will see.

He would still need Rudolph for a couple of reasons. First, Rudolph's nose gives off light, and the FAA requires a light for night flights. But more importantly, Santa's sleigh is tracked by NORAD, and they track it by satellites that focus on Rudolph's nose.

Great idea, I could see that being made into a commercial though something like this.

Rudolph Rudolph, where is the next chimney
Rudolph Rudolph, do I turn left or right
Rudolph, Rudolph where is Main Street?

Next time use Tom Tom, not Rudolph Rudolph

FYI - GPS are n't only for cars. They can be mounted on other vehicles, and there are hand held models. Ships and boats use GPS too.

NO - Magic (virtual as some may declare it to be) goes where no GPS ever could. I MUST SAY, I AM SURPRISED AT YOU. Santa, Rudolph and the gang are among the last redeeming values and sentimental icons of a more loving era. You turn them into technologically updated pieces of icicles too, and soon humanity will lose its last stronghold of innocence and hope. :-( NO GPS FOR SANTA, PLEASE - RUDOLPH HAS BEEN DOING A GREAT JOB FOR A LONG TIME NOW. LEAVE THE GOOD ENOUGH ALONE.

Good Lord, don't tell me technology has gotten to YOU too! Santa with a GPS...? Next thing you'll tell me that Santa's elves should be laid off as their jobs can be outsourced. This is making a mockery of Santa! What an outrage... by the way, I just texted Santa on his Blackberry and I have him your name and you are now at the top of the naughty list....
