1st and foremost--the ground we play on. Another issue is Mud or clay is used to make a compound that is used to skiff the ball used by professional pitchers. The ball is scuffed so that it isn't slippery when pitched. Lime is used to make the lines on a ball field. Lime is mined from the earth. These things not to mention the comments by the person above me, are all used in playing ball. I can think of others also like the rosin used by pitchers.

First of all the obvious, the field.

Next, the ball. Cows eat grass. The cover of the ball is made of leather. The thread used to sew the ball and wrap the core come from plant fibers which get their nutrients from the soil. Also, the ball, I believe, has a rubber core which comes from plants.

The glove is also made of leather, which come from animal hides.

And last, but not least the bat is made of either wood, which also gets its nutrients from soil, or aluminum which is a mineral in the soil.
