How do I accomplish the military convoy mission in GTA Vice City???

IF THIIS THE ONE WHERE YOU STEAL THE TANK FOR CORTEZ, DRIVE ON THE LANE OPPOSITE OF THE TANK. FOR ABOUT 45 SECONDS, KEP WITH THEIR SPEED. EVENTUALLY A SAREGANT WILL ASK THE GUY IN THE TANK TO GET HIM SOME DONUTS. HE THEN LEAVES THE TANK. HURRY INTO THE TANK AND DRIVE IT TO THE GARAGE INDICATED ON YOUR MINIMAP. YOU NOW HAV A 3 STAR WANTED LEVEL. AND THERE IS A DETONATION BAR.

REWARD $2000

BY THE WAY, MAKE SURE YOU GOT 100 HEALTH AND 100 ARMOR, OR THIS MISSION WILL BE A LITTLE MORE DIFFICULT. ALSO I'VE HEARD THAT TI IS POSSIBLE TO DRIVE TO A GARAGE IN YOUR DOWNTOWN HYMAN CONDO INSTEAD. AND THE TANK WILL BE YOURS AFTER THE MISSION IS OVER. I HAVEN'T TRIED IT THOUGH.

ALSO AFTER COMPLETING THIS MISSION A SIX STAR WANTED LEVE IS NOW POSSIBLE. AND THEN THERE WILL BE A MISSION IN WHICH YOU'LL NEED TO ESCORT CORTZ OUT OF VICE CITY.

to have this piece of information before doing "Death Row" (Ricardo Diaz)).

HandsomeRockus.

| The Plan \

The technology the Colonel wants is a tank. It is being delivered somewhere
and is protected by a convoy of soldiers. At the time you begin this
mission, the convoy is going south down the main road on the West Side
towards a large garage in Viceport.

Recently, Glen T. Winstein gave me another method that a friend of his,
HandsomeRockus, uses.

Take the Cheetah that spawns near the Colonel's yacht and drive to the West
Side. Go north along the southbound lane until you encounter the convoy.
Slow down and park the Cheetah in front of the tank itself then exit the
car. When the driver of the tank leaves to move the Cheetah, get inside the
tank and floor it. The other vehicles of the convoy will try to stop you
but will end up destroying themselves when they hit the tank.

When you enter the tank, an auto-destruct sequence starts so you have to
act fast. Head to the red dot within Little Havana which is a storage
building. When you get there, put the tank into the building and get out to
end the mission.
