I was called an outkast when I treid to join an organization, by one of the group members.And another member took me to the side and told me to stop trying to be her friend because I don't need to do that...(which hurted my feelings)and a couple of them would ignore me and such, Why would someone call me that and how would you interpret what they are saying

they are mean and don't want anyone else in their little group. if they aren't going to treat u fairly why would u want to be in their group anyway and cause yourself grief. they are trying to discourage u.

This call is yours alone, People are going to be people.
be friends with whom so ever you wish to be friends with and if others can't stand it, You'll Know who your friends really are.
to be honest, make your own group with members you bring in that won't cause any grief.

maybe they think your trying to hard to fit in? either way i dont think it gives them the right to be a s sholes, its not worth it to you. Maybe you can find another, orginization similiar to that one? whatever it may be

they do not want you in their group so be with people who like you.. and do not fight hard to fit in...
