Supposedly 330ish range, to the ground. I;ve got mine putting out about 340 to the ground (5.3 with bolt ons) and personally I'm having some problems. However I feel it is the tranny shopthat doesn't know what they are doing. I mean, for crying out loud, they are telling me that my alternator is making my tranny go in fail safe mode, (3rd gear only, f.y.i.). Even I know better than that and I;m a chick! lol
It depends on a lot of things too.........What motor? What tranny? What mods? How many miles? How do you drive? Those will also configure into how much you can handle. To be on the safe side, I personally would beef the tranny up once I've hit the 330 mark. That's me though.
I can't complain on mine though, I've got 225,000 miles, so I can't be mad about some smaller issues though.

The stock 4L60e 4 speed automatic is only good for about 300 rear wheel horsepower, go any higher and start looking for a new transmission.
Simple upgrades to "beef" up the 60 are a Transgo HD2C and some better servos, the vette or billet style are popular. Other than that you need to have it rebuilt to hold the amount of power you're looking for.
