My Boss re gifts! True Story she gave me the same Beautiful vase that I gave to her last year. It was during our gift exchange. Since I am very vocal and sometimes just spit out whatever is on my mind I said "Didn't I give this to you last year" her Husband was there celebrating with us and he looked at her laughing and said "I told you that was going to happen eventually." She was rightfully embarrassed. So I had bought her a $50.00 gift certificate to Tahoe Joe's and I took it back and bought her a $1.99 calendar. You are so lucky!!!!!! '-)

You do know that the IRS rules now dictate that your xmas bonus of 400$ is considered "income" so you really didnt get a bonus after all....

I don't have a boss, I am the boss. I let everyone go home early 2 days in a row which, given their hourly wage, was worth a heck of a lot more money than 400$.
And they don't have to declare it either.

This year I received a $1000 bonus, and a company dinner with spouses invited at a nice restaraunt. Kinda nice since I'm only a temp. I can only imagine how much the real employees received!

I don't have a boss, except for my 3-year-old lol, but my husband's boss could have been more generous. A hundred dollar bonus and a mediocre lunch. Woopdedoo!

My bonus was 3% of annual gross pay. Plus we all had a great night out for a very nice dinner at a restaurant, with bowling and drinks after dinner. All in all, it was very nice.

Seriously, a candy cane, and no lunch! I think you win the "cool boss" sweepstakes!

Let's see...an apple, an orange, a few pieces of candy, and a tray for cookies (not the cookies, just the tray). Hmmmmmm, sounds like you did better than me this year.

Won't be long before he tries to make his middle age gait appeal to you in a darkened office supply cupboard, take care sweetie and whilst rummaging for replacement staplers, keep your back to the wall.
