I'm a liberal and I don't hate anything... that's the beauty of being a liberal.

Republicans have mastered hate with everything they believe in being all about opposing something else... anti-gay, anti-immigration, anti-abortion, anti-free religion, anti-speech, etc...

I don't have a problem with it on the surface...freedom of speech and all... it's their right...

but taking any one source as gospel is dangerous for ANYONE with ANY SOURCE... and it seems that most conservatives get the idea in their head that Fox is right and everything else is wrong...

so, all many of them get is one side of the story... and they end up being totally oblivious to both sides of the story... I've talked to so many that have no clue about certain things going on in the world... because Fox news doesn't show certain stories that don't agree with their view of the world...

it gets old on here when people don't care about the other side of the story because they just "like" the side they have... and that happens on both sides sometimes... but a lot with Fox News viewers...

I'm a liberal and I don't hate FOX NEWS.

As a matter of fact I make it a point to watch it at least once a week.

Some people think it leans more to the right politically.

First of all, let me begin by saying that I am an independent, and don't consistantly favor either liberals and conservatives. They both have their plusses and minuses.

It's because Fox News generally has a conservative-leaning slant and their analysts often go against their opinion. Some of the anchors on Fox News, such as Bill O'Reilly, will even go as far as to attack the position of liberals. If someone attacks your ideals and morals, I think you might be offended too.

They have had a corner on the mass media for years - loss of that control really pisses them off. They don't want people to get two sides to a story....only the left.

"Fox News" is an oxymoron. It spouts more propaganda for Bush than "Pravda" did for the Communist Party in the USSR.

The only conclusion I can come up with is that it's a channel of logic and truth. So of course it goes against their credo of nonsensical, anti war, anti bush rhetoric. All I know is that they sure have a hard on against fox. could it be that they only believe in free speech as long as it agrees with them? hmmm???

It skews the News toward anti-liberal stances to capture the conservative demongraphic market in order to sell them commericial air time to convince them to buy products with their hard earn dollars which they really don't need.
