I'm going bowling on Wed. do you know any bowling tips?

I've been bowling before, but i always lose.

have fun if this is your first time and aim for the middle...if know some that bowls maybe you can ask for some pointers..keep your arm swing straight..( i also coach kids) and here in Illinois

Just stop and think first. How will your line and length go if you try and increase your pace. There are many pace bowlers who may be quick but can only drop the ball on the spot every now and then. Look at Glenn McGrath, not the quickest but very hard to play. Catching will come with practice, don't just work on your bowling at practice, fielding is as important. Have a good yarn with your coach before you do anything.

Since it sounds like you have never bowled before, Line up at the same spot every time before your approach, to where you can roll the ball one board to the right of the center arrow if right handed, or one board to the left if you are left handed.
