Metallica, they made metal mainstream. The metal bands of today owe every single penny of thier overpriced concert tickets, to Metallica and the fanbase that they created.

Stomp!!!
They are the best metal band. They play garbage cans, hub caps, metal piping, and other assorted metals. Can't get much more metal than Stomp!!
Blast!! is a close 2nd.
