Yes, they do.
Marine birds, such as these and others (e.g. penguins), have special salt glands that help them filter out the excess salt from their food and water, so as to avoid dehydration.
These glands are paired and kidney or crescent-shaped, and are situated in the head, above the eyes. They filter sodium chloride (table salt) and excrete it via ducts that open near the nostrils of the birds. Maybe you've seen one of these birds "sneeze" and blow out a whitish spray, that's the secretion from the salt gland.

Here's an old 'classic' scientific article about salt glands of birds:

BTW, other sea vertebrates such as some crocodiles, turtles and sea snakes also have diverse salt glands.

i'd ward off it. that's going to bring about dehydration and would nicely be undesirable for the toddler with that a lot salt. develop your fiber intake. Konsyl person-friendly blend is a bulk forming fiber laxative that's available at any drug shop and is secure for being pregnant (if even says so on the kit and my obgyn shown it besides). i'm getting undesirable constipation too considering i choose an iron supplement and it extremely works wonders for me. good success.

Sea birds can pump out excess salt by a small gland (aptly names the salt gland) behind their eye , this salt is then sent out of the bird though tubules out of the nostril.

I believe they have a ridge in thier bills that "sort" the salt from the water, so that they are actually drinking the freshwater. I know that penguins have such a groove or ridge, I'd imagine other water fowl also does.

I'm sure they drink a little bit, but if they are even close in structure to humans, it doesn't do them any good, actually just dehydrates us more.

No. They get the moisture they need from the food they eat.
