Because it's the liberal / atheist way. Islam and atheism are the only two religions allowed in the classroom.

They teach evolution in school because there isn't much of anything to disprove it other than "OMG CUZ GOD SAYS SO LOL", and if they taught Jewish/Christian/Muslim creationism as fact they'd have to teach it by everyone else's religion as well, plus there's all the atheists and agnostics (I'm the latter) who won't believe in that. And as for your Social Darwinism, some of those people COULD take care of themselves, they might even have jobs, but they just don't have enough money and they can't get a better one. You can't support a family and have a place to live on 5 bucks an hour, you dumb shite.

darwinism and social darwinism are polar opposites. Quite the contrary my friend...it's the neocons who promote social darwinism. Instead of teaching a poor man to fish so he can eat everyday, neocons steal the fishing poll and remove all the fish from the water.
Evolution is fact, period. Creationism is utterly false and ridiculous. Just ask all the federal courts.

Darwinism is a scientific theory; Social Darwinism is gobbledygook dreamed up to justify dumping on the people in society least able to defend themselves.
Obviously your own education didn't cover either (or spelling for that matter).

You made quite a leap from "Darwinism" to health care...but you digress. As for teaching "Darwinism" in school, I'm pretty sure that what is taught in the science classrooms of America is the theory of evolution, not "Darwinism."
