lol no i am not LYING i'm asking for a friend whose dad is in the hospital and a hooligan trashed all their christmas decorations and was sent to juvy. the family paid them the 2k not to press charges. : / he wants to get something NICE for his mom this year!

Find out if she likes operas or a singer.Or even ice skating.Get info on concerts,coming up, or a ticket for an event,and a day at the spa.

Oh dear..you've got some big bucks on your hands. What is always fun to do is take a big trip to New York City and shop for clothing. They always have the best stores to spend your $$$ at. When the time comes for lunch, go to a fancy resturant and order some good food. Do an afternoon activity, like finding a nice spa and get pampered or see a show on Broadway. Maybe shop some more and then go to another fancy place for dinner. Make reservations for a hotel and spend a night or two (I would suggest a night. You don't have THAT much money.). In the morning find a nice place for brunch or get room service at your hotel. When its time to go home, I guarantee your mother will thank you for the great prezzie! ^_^ Good luck!

Plasma tv. Mutual funds or stocks. A vacation to barbados. A sleazy night with a male stripper and drinks for all her girlfriends. PUt it into the bank. Buy her a new computer, maybe a laptop. Buy her new furniture or decor for her home. Buy 40 $50 dollar gift cards

Unless she needs the money--take her on a vacation to someplace she'd like. You can take a 3-5 day vacation to alot of places for that.
If she can use the money, give her a small gift and put the rest in a new savings account for her, or a CD. I think they are running about 5% interest now.

How about quality time. Spend a day or two doing things together, like shopping, spas, movies, or a short trip doing all of the above.Spend some girl time with her.

Give her some nice things because she deserves it and it will be a great surprise if she not expecting it. You will make her so happy. Mothers do not always expect from our children, we are the ones usually giving all the time.
