yes Kaos_kristin i think is it possible - it depends on what you want to say about it
what the great american philospher Werner Erhard wanted to say about it ( and he spends allot of his waking moments working on this very good question of yours )...what he says is:
"life is empty and meaningless AND it is empty and meaningless that it is empty and meaningless"
very few people get that second part
they think - oh life is empty and meaningless so THERFORE I might as well do nothing or jump off a nearby bridge or do this or not do that ....
and what they fail to see is that that is putting meaning on empty and meaningless
it is really empty and meaningless that it is is empty and meaningless
this ee cummings poem about the emptyness and meaningless of life drives home the point so beautifully I think ( do you like it ?)
what Got him was Noth
ing & nothing's exAct
ly what any
one Living(or some
body Dead
like
even a Poet)could
hardly express what
i Mean is
what knocked him over Wasn't
(for instance)the Knowing your
whole(yes god
damned)life is a Flop or even
to
Feel how
Everything(dreamed
& hoped &
prayed for
months & weeks & days & years
& nights &
forever)is Less Than
Nothing(which would have been
Something)what got him was nothing
.

Now and then, surely but not for your entire existance.
We were born into life for specific reason and hopefully we'll find that reason before life itself ends.
We feel life is meaningless when we don't know which turn to take, but the truth is we just got lost and need to find our way back so that we can continue the journey and get to where we are heading. I am in my most comfortable stop, what about you?

In the daily routine of repetitiveness what do you think we are actually doing but existing? Think about it. We get up do our routine, go to bed and do it again. Meaningless? That's up to you.

There is no meaning to anything other than communication, and that meaning exists only within the context. All things have significance, though, to varying degrees.
@Dove: If all we did was exist, how could we *not* be here???

That depends on each individual whether their life was meaningless or not.

It is possible but not the truth, why would we be here if all we did was exist.
Seriously, I am sure we are here for a reason, whether or not is simply to die.
I love being alive right now!!!

Yes... just as great of a possibility that it could be meaningful as well. Think of it this way: what you perceive, you tend to believe. It's your call.
