Why does'nt the average House spider realise that the window sill is the ideal Meat Supermarket for food. Free meat for the taking

it would also be a good place to die!
(although i'm sure if they knew that birds cant open windows to get to them they may move to more obvious places!)

because a web works in a shady place, where the fly can not see it, and it has taken many thousand years for the spider to develop this behaviour. Windows were introduced by the romans, and glass is only about 300 years old, give them time to adapt.

think theyre eating window sill meat and then coming in ... have you seen the size of them .... getting bigger
