Dude, all you have to do is play a lot of training games. Play them religiously. I used to play 3 training games for every rated game. It really helps, I was, and still am, a level 44 in T Slayer.

What is your controller sensitivity set on? If it's not on the highest setting then you've got room to improve right there.

Also, learn the levels inside and out. Start playing on an empty level and look for different routes to get from one place to another, an unexpected cut can surprise a lot of players and give you a great ambush. There are a ton of crouch-jumps that aren't immediately obvious, find a few and share with friends. They'll help you find more. Learn to work as a team; sometimes you'll lead, sometimes you'll follow. Learn to communicate with your team, a fast trigger rarely beats solid teamwork and communication.

lower settings or get better hardware get a new keyboard and mouse (this old keyboard gets me pwned online) whereas at home im fine...get a good laser mouse. PRACTICE
