In my oppinion:
This version is old, but one of the best! If not THE best!

"A Christmas Carol" (1971), an Oscar-winning animated short film by Richard Williams, with Alastair Sim reprising the role of Scrooge.
A Christmas Carol (1971) is a 25-minute animated cartoon adaptation of Charles Dickens' venerable novella which was originally shown on ABC. It was animated and directed by Richard Williams, and starred Alastair Sim as the voice of Ebenezer Scrooge (a role Sim had previously performed in the 1951 live-action film Scrooge). Michael Redgrave narrated the story.

Originally produced as a television special, A Christmas Carol won an Academy Award (for best animated short subject) in 1973; it remains the only film adaptation of the story to date to be so honored... This adaptation has a distinctive look, created by multiple pans and zooms and excellent secen transitions. It also was largely inspired by the original illustrations of the story.

The original English production in 1951 with Allister Cooke as Scrooge. Non-pretentious, giving the best version of Dickens classic Did you know he wrote the story in a day because at the time, he was down and out and required the money.

Scrooge, starring Albert Finney. This is a musical version from 1970. It is amazing to me how versatile Albert Finney is, playing a hunched-over old Scrooge. So many of the musical numbers are filled with such joy that I cry every time.

I think the best version was "Scrooged" with Bill Murray. It put a modern spin on the story as well as modern "visiting ghosts". And let's not forget the "Solid Gold Dancers"!!
