She's famous for a sex tape she claims was released without her consent. It's BS. She wanted the tape released as a publicity stunt, and it jump started her career. She has absolutely no talent. I don't understand why people give her any attention at all.

Paris Hilton is a peabrain who hasn't even got the benefit of being pretty. She's a beanpole with a peasized brain on the top, who does the best she can by draping herself in outrageously expensive designer wear, that frankly looks so bad I wouldn't even offer it to goodwill.
And, of course, the ONLY thing she is famous for is, well, being famous as the child of the most famous of the Hiltons - or is it grandchild? Hilton Hotels have been around for so long.

Paris Hilton is a young socialite from New York City. Her mom was an actress, and Paris began acting, getting small TV appearances first, then being cast in movies like "House Of Wax" and others. She has a debut album out or is being released shortly and a new movie is due out next year. She sure is gorgeous, no one can argue that. She was born in 1981, so she has hopefully a long career ahead of her.

She is a "style" Icon. She is rich from her family (the hilton hotels) and she also has her own money. She endorses clothing, has her own fragrance, and is an actress (kinda). She started doing modeling, and did and does many runway shoes. She now gets paid 1 Mil just to show up at clubs (promotions) and party!! I wish I had that job.
Of course the first thing to make her famous was her homemade sex tape!! Without that - we wouldn't have the paris we do today!!!

Paris Hilton comes from a famous family that owns Hotels worldwide. She doesn't do anything well and lives off of her family name. Her notariety comes mostly from being outragious and flaunting her low moral fiber in the tabloids. Do not consider her a role model.

I think shes only famous because of her father! But what made her even more known was those videos of her that they spread around the web.
Along with that one show she did with nicole richie called the simple life.
oh, and she also done quite a few songs, and modeled in her early years.
