This is a typical misconception people have. NO. Just because you dance does not mean you are gay, just like if you do not dance, does not mean you are straight.

Nothing about dancing is gay. About half the time the dancers are gay, and half the time they are straight. It could be gay men are more cultured, but dancing is not limited to gay men.
I know plenty of gay men who dance, but more straight men who dance.
Just because you dance, does not mean you are gay.

No, of course not. Lord Shiva is called NATARAJA, the God of dance. He used to dance with his wife Parvati. He had two sons- Kartikeya and Ganesha. He was not a gay.

Lord Krishna is called NATAWAR, the king of dancers. His Raasaleela (dance) with his Gopikas (Milk maids) has a philosophical concept behind it. He had two wives- Satyabhama and Rukmini. He had a son Aniruddha. He was not a gay.

It is a misconception. I am a Dancer and dance teacher too. I am married and have two beautiful daughters. When I get down from the stage after the performance, Girls want to touch me. You can see an appreciation in their eyes. But, you have to be masculine, even if you are a dancer.

I have seen many dancers who act like a girl. That is wrong. If God has made you as a man, then be like a man. Dancing has nothing to do with that.

Being a dancer doesn't mean your gay. It just means you like to dance. And besides, I can honestly tell you that there is absolutely nothing gay about dancing the tango.

NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you are a male dancer it does not nessesarily mean you are gay. It can mean that you appreciate the art of dance. In my opinion, dance is the best thing ever, but I'm a girl. Still, I know tons of boy dancers and not one of them is gay.

Clearly you've never seen a couple dance a tango... There's nothing gay about it (unless, I guess, if the couple is both of the same sex).
Males who dance do so because they like to, and the ladies tend to notice them.

noo not nesecsarly. [sp]. people just jump to conclusions that someone is gay just because of being a dancer. you dont have to like guys to dance. dancing is fun for everyone and that doesnt need to determine your love for the same sex.

Not at all. In fact some female dancers find guys who can dance more attractive. Unless they outshine them of course.
