I think they're meant to be gender neutral...both sexes get killed off on both shows...although CSI has better looking men and L&O has better looking women....maybe that just happened during casting though.
My hubby doesn't like CSI or Law and Order...I love CSI, but I dont watch L&O that often.

CSI Miami, and CSI New York are two of the few TV shows I watch. (House is good too)

yes dudes watch and even like them...although Donofrio,Vincent irritates the crap outta me so criminal intent is out,and David Crusoe went from NYPD to a cross between Capt. kirk and and some wanna be rich/sexy guy charactor..his role in csi:Miami is Hor---horABLe
