i think so. the voters shouldn't punish him for being injury-prone. i think they will realize that without the injuries, he would probably have been one of the best 5 players ever, if not #1.

No doubt. Ken Griffey Jr. was one of the most exciting players in baseball when he played for the Mariners. He went all out, making spectacular diving and leaping catches in the Kingdome and Safeco Field. An example of his hustle in the outfield was when he broke his wrist while making a leaping catch up against the Kingdome wall.

Griffey hit the cover off of the ball with large sums of home runs while hitting for a good average at the same time. He helped save baseball in Seattle in 1995 when the M's made their amazing playoff run late in the season. That certainly can't hurt his chances at the Hall.

Obviously if Griffey stayed healthy the last few years, with all of the games he has missed, he would have even more outstanding offensive numbers and highlight reel plays in the outfield. Ken made a comeback last season putting up productive power numbers, but once again, missed a few games due to injury.

Ken Griffey Jr. really hasn't really done anything to hurt is HOF chances, so I don't really see why people ask if he is Hall worthy with the career he has posted.

So, to answer your question, yes I think Ken Griffey Jr. definitely is a Hall of Famer.

Oh yeah Ken Griffey Jr is one of the greatest of the modern day outfielders winning a lot of golden glove awards and has been in many a highlight film with his great catches. He will have over 600 homeruns before he retires too with a respectable lifetime average. I think he will be a first ballot Hall of Famer.

Even bearing in mind that he has been injury services because going to the Reds, I nonetheless think of he makes it. it quite is not substantial if he does not have the suitable management skills, Griffey has shown he's between the greater suitable hitters in baseball whilst he's healthful. It additionally facilitates that he has in no way been related with the steroids scandal that seems to have tainted the fairly some different gamers presently. If he hits six hundred residing house runs, i think of it will be certain that he's a typical, or at worst a 2nd, pollhall of famer.

He falls into the Mark McGwire category - iffy. He's been injured and has had a lot of problems in playing full seasons in the past few years and that always seems to hurt a player's chances. He's not the media darling he was 10 years ago and that won't help either. He may go in, but I can't see him being a first ballot pick. If he is, Mark McGwire should be as well.

Over 500 homers, over 2400 hits, over 170 steals, and 10 Gold Gloves, the guy is a fantastic player. Griffey is one of the best, he has been injured many times, but that's about the only negative in his career.

I say definitely. Career stats are good enough. But most impressive are his years in Seattle from the beginning of his career. Any great span of offense, not to mention defense, for a decade is sure-fire Hall of Fame material. Similar case is Frank Thomas.
