Did you ever experience any creamy cervical mucus just before your expected period? But learned you were pregnant instead?
Just wondering if this is a sign of pregnancy. Thanks!

It's one of the possible signs of early pregnancy - the excess cervical mucus forms the plug. Or it could be the beginning of a yeast infection. The only way to know for sure it to get tested.

I've never been pregnant, but I normally have an increase in creamy cervical fluid about 2-3 days before my period.

But it can be a sign of pregnancy for those who are dry after ovulation. Everyone is different.

Good Luck!

I have experienced this. I went to my doctor who told me that it was cervical fluid. The fluid can increase at different times. It also increases during pregnancy. However, just because you have increased amounts doesn't necessarily mean that you are pregnant. If it is very close to time for your period, I say go and get a cheap test to calm your nerves and curiosity. (It doesn't matter how much the test costs, they must still measure the amount of hcg in your urine--another note from my wonderful gyn!)

Discharge shouldn't be considered a sign of pregnancy- the only thing that you should trust as being indicative of pregnancy if a positive pregnancy test.
If your period doesn't show in a week or so, take a test. That's the only way to find out.

No it's not a sign. It can happen when pregnant...but after a you have been pregnant for a while (8weeks and beyond). You normal have mucus when you are close to (or are) ovulating.
