Well, if it doesn't have to be signed for, they will leave it, if you have a half way decent secure area for them to leave it at.
If not, they will leave a form, asking for you to call and make alternative delivery arrangements. I doubt it would be tomorrow though.
In the future, if you are expecting a package, you can leave them a note to leave it with a neighbor.

No, UPS charges extra for saturday delivery, may b u can run down to location & pickup at night.

Not unless you paid extra - in advance - for saturday delivery.
Most of the time, and depending on your neigborhood, you can leave a note on your door.

USPS is SOO MUCH easier to deal with!
