They are a combination of both. You always want every thing to be perfect. To get everyone you love lots of gifts and get lots in return. But life just doesn't work that way! So we take what we can get. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

I get a little depressed during the holidays. I always want to have an actual Christmas. Give presents to people, make a nice dinner, bake cookies, decorate, donate toys etc. But I never have money to do anything and never had an actual Christmas. I always say "this is the year", but it never turns out that way.

It's a joyful time of year. I love watching people open the gifts that I gave them. I love celebrating with friends and loved ones. Best of all is the time off from work!

Not any more. Since I stopped decorating and running around spending money I don't have, I got really happy. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Happy Holidays for all the other religions.

Holidays in other years have been depressing because something was always missing, but this year is a good one because I have many things to be thankful for - my family and friends, good job, and my new boyfriend. It's all good!

This year, not. I may even make it through the year without getting bummed out (almost made it last year, but the wife made a snot-crap comment on Chrismas eve that wrecked everything
