what should a person do if they miss someone that was very nice and dear to them??? and not related?? please help as soon as possible

Look them up either send them a post card or an email that says been thinking about you. Get in contact in any way possible. Who knows you may make someone's day.

What's stopping you from contacting them? If you miss them, what difference does it make if they are related or not? If you are going to contact them, this is the time to do it. You might just make their holiday that in so many cases can be hectic and depressing for so many people.

Keep in touch!!!! If you have lost touch reconnect,asap. Life is short and people who make your life brighter,happier just by being in it. Are fewer as you get older.
